This tutorial guides you through creating and submitting an order in the new portal.
1. Introduction
You will learn how to add medications, enter patient details, and complete the order process securely and efficiently.
2. Navigate to Orders Section
Click the Orders tab to access the order management area within the portal on the left side. This is where you can view and create new orders.
3. Initiate New Order Creation
Click the Create Order button to start a new order entry process in the system, preparing to add medications and patient details.
4. Add a New Order
Click Add the order to begin specifying the details of the new order you want to place within the pharmacy system.
5. Access Medication Section
Click the Medication tab to open the section where you can add and manage medications for the order. This will be the first step of creating the order, so make sure you start off by selecting the medication.
6. Add Medication to Order
Click Add Medication to include a new medication item in the current order you are preparing.
7. Search Medication by SKU or Name
Click the search field labeled Search by SKU or medication name to find the medication you want to add to the order.
8. Enter Medication Search Term
Enter the medication identifier or name, such as BPC, to locate the specific medication in the system's database.
9. Select Medication from Results
Click Select to choose the medication from the search results and add it to your order list.
10. Increase Medication Quantity
Click the plus (+) button to increase the quantity of the selected medication for the order.
11. Add Additional Medication Quantity
Click the plus (+) button again to further increase the medication quantity as needed for the order.
12. Decrease Medication Quantity
Click the minus (-) button to reduce the quantity of the medication if you need to adjust the order amount.
13. Review Medication Details
Click the medication details area to review the name, SKU, quantity, volume, strength, and directions for use.
14. Access Pharmacy Overview
Clicking on the downwards arrow of the directions, will show a list of different directions for some products. You can always edit those set directions as well, by clicking on the lower direction tab and writing over it.
15. Select Medication Directions
Click the directions field labeled Inject 0.2-0.5mg SQ daily to specify or edit the administration instructions for the medication.
16. Enter Medication Dosage Instructions
Enter the dosage instructions, such as Inject 0.2mg SQ daily, to ensure accurate medication administration guidance.
17. Confirm Dosage Instructions
Click the dosage instructions field again to confirm or adjust the entered medication directions as needed.
18. Reopen Dosage Instructions
Click the dosage instructions field once more to verify or modify the medication administration details. DIRECTIONS MUST INCLUDE: (MG) and (ML or UNIT), (ROUTE OF INJECTION), (FREQUENCY).
19. Update Dosage with Units
Enter the dosage including units, such as Inject 0.2mg (UNITS) SQ daily, to clarify the medication amount and frequency. THIS IS AN EXAMPLE DIRECTION THAT DOES NOT MATCH, JUST AN EXAMPLE.
20. Select Dosage Field
Click the dosage field to review or edit the medication dosage and administration schedule.
21. Proceed to Patient Information
Click Continue to patient to move forward to entering or selecting patient details for the order.
22. Select Patient Name Field
Click the patient name field to begin entering or editing the patient's personal information for the order.
23. Fill patient information
Fill out:

Email:
Phone #:
DOB:
Gender:
24. Add Allergy Information
Click Add Allergy to include any known patient allergies that may affect medication selection or safety.
25. Select Allergy Name Field
Click the allergy name field to enter the specific allergen affecting the patient.
26. Enter Allergy Name
Enter the allergy name, such as Sulfa, to document patient sensitivities accurately.
27. Select Reaction and Severity Field
Click the Reaction and Severity field to specify the patient's response level to the allergy.
28. Enter Allergy Severity
Enter the severity level, such as Moderate, to inform safe medication practices for the patient.
29. Proceed to Shipping Details
Click Continue to shipping to move forward to entering the shipping address and delivery preferences for the order.
30. Select Shipping Destination
Click Ship to Clinic to designate the clinic as the delivery location for the order shipment.
31. Enter Clinic Name
Enter the clinic name in the shipping address field to specify the delivery recipient location.
32. Enter Patient Name for Shipping
Enter the patient's name in the shipping address to ensure accurate delivery to the correct individual.
33. Select Shipping Address Field
Click the shipping address field to input or modify the street address for order delivery.
34. Enter Street Address
Enter the street address, such as 123 Main Street, to specify the exact delivery location for the order.
35. Access Address Line Fields
Click the address line fields to review or edit the street and postal information for shipping accuracy.
If there is a space after the zipcode, it will not go through, it only recognizes 5 digits.
36. Select Zip Code Entry
Click the zip code entry field to ensure the postal code is correctly entered for delivery purposes.
37. Continue to Prescriber Information
Click Continue to prescriber to proceed to selecting or entering the prescriber details for the order.
38. Search Prescriber by Name
Click the search field labeled Search by name to find the prescriber associated with the order.
39. Select Demo Prescriber
Click Demo Prescriber to choose the prescriber from the available list for the order authorization. There will be a list of prescribers for your respective login. This is just a demo.
40. Preview and Submit Order
Click PreviewSubmit order to review all order details and submit the order for processing securely.
41. Review your order before placing on the right hand side.
Click the Medication tab to revisit or verify the medications included in the order.
42. Open Additional Options
Click the ellipsis (...) to access more options or settings related to the medication or order.
43. Access Patient Section
Click the Patient tab to view or edit patient information associated with the order.
44. Review Patient Summary
Click the patient summary showing name, gender, birthdate, email, phone, and allergies to verify accuracy.
45. Access Shipping Address Section
Click the Shipping Address tab to review or modify the delivery address details for the order.
46. Select Shipping Address Summary
Click the shipping address summary showing street, city, state, and zip code to confirm details.
47. Access Prescriber Section
Click the Prescriber tab to view or edit the prescriber information linked to the order.
48. Access Payment Section
Click the Payment tab to review or enter payment details related to the order transaction.
49. Review Pricing Details
Click Review Pricing to examine the cost breakdown and charges associated with the order.
50. Proceed to Payment
Click Continue to payment to move forward with finalizing payment information for the order.
51. Submit the Order
Click PreviewSubmit order to complete the order submission process and send it for fulfillment securely.
You have successfully created and submitted an order by adding medications, entering patient and shipping information, selecting a prescriber, and reviewing payment details. For further management, explore order tracking and inventory updates within the application.
